We will show here the reports of recent fundraising events which we have been
involved with or which have been brought to our attention and from which we have
benefited.

Friends
of Helen's mother had 2 entries in the
London Triathlon
on 6th August. They acquitted themselves extremely well finishing in the
top half the field for their respective events. One Individual undertook the
Sprint event and finished in around 1 hour 20 minutes. The other
team covered the Sprint distance and finished in just under 1 hour 30 minutes.
Everyone who supported them in Docklands had a good day out.

Our
Bazaar on 18th June was attended by local residents and Grant Shapps MP opened
the event and spoke to stall holders. We are grateful for all the support
received, including all the efforts by a team of Millennium Volunteer students
from a local school.
